Research

My research while a graduate student and postdoc at CIDD focused on how environmental effects on the immune system affect host-parasite interactions in amphibians. I investigated how temperature, stress, and breeding status affect seasonal and spatial patterns in immunocompetence.

Study systems

Trematode parasites of tadpoles

Red-spotted newts (Notophthalmus viridescens viridescens)
