Research

Currently I am studying system-level host-pathogen interactions and dynamics that arise during the pathogenesis of infectious disease. I primarily use powerful methods of network theory and dynamic modeling. I also use phylogenetic, sequence analysis and structural modeling tools.

Experimental and clinical observations parameterize the network of host immune components and pathogen virulence factors catalyzed by pathogen invasion. Dynamic modeling of the network enables us to:

Study systems include

Bordetella bronchiseptica and B. pertussis
