Study systems include
Fence lizards (Sceloporous undulatus)
Research interests
I'm interested in the ecology of infectious disease, particularly the use of wildlife populations as model systems to study parasite transmission dynamics.
My current research project investigates the parasite communities of fence lizards (Sceloporous undulatus). In these lizards, I am examining:
- How parasites affect the physiology, behavior and demography of the population
- How heterogeneities influence the spread and persistence of infection
