Research interests
My research interests include the the effects of respiratory syncytial virus infection on susceptibility of surrounding uninfected cells in time and space and the characterization of endogenous retrovirus.
I am particularly interested in:
- the temporal and spatial effects of respiratory syncytial virus infection on the susceptibility of surrounding uninfected cells to be infected by the same or a different virus, the fate of infected and uninfected cells responding to infection, and the consequence to viral production from infected cells.
- understanding the innate immune response pathway to respiratory syncytial virus.
- characterization of endogenous retrovirus in Mule deer.
